As a region, pomegranate production is grown in the Mediterranean, Aegean and Southeastern Anatolia regions. As a province, it has the highest production in Antalya, Mersin, Muğla and Adana. 60% of the production takes place in the Mediterranean, 25% in the Aegean, and in the Southeastern Anatolia regions.

Harvest Season

Pomegranates are harvested between August and November, depending on the variety and region. Since the plant has a long flowering period, the fruits do not ripen at the same time, harvesting can be done 2-3 times in a period of 20-30 days.
